Tinyfolks is a Platformer, RPG, and Strategy game for PC published by VANDERMAESEN GAMES in 2022. There’s a Darkest dungeon feeling but a lite version!

If you have even a tiny bit of appeal for the genre, this is sure for you. If you want to know more about what to expect, tell yourself that it’s the darkest dungeon, the masochistic and ultra-dark sides less, the rogue-like side toned down.
Train your folks, upgrade your town, and battle monsters in this minimalist retro-looking strategy RPG! A really nice game! Played 3 hours in one playthrough without even realizing it! we didn’t finish our run, yet! The game locks a lot of content early on so you don’t get flooded with all the depth of it (and that’s nice), you go step by step unlocking more and more unit/building/content.
It’s a turn-based game without a timer, so you can take as much time as you want and save in fights, no hurry, just enjoy the game (and we love this). There’s a lot to optimize on a game and without it, we are close to the end, it’s not TOO punitive when you discover the game (we lost units and it just makes you lose a bit of time (that is counted)). 100% sure we’ll finish this run, and try another trying to do our best/play with more units, a nice game to play even if you easily get distracted when you play!
This game is excellent for a quick fix for those looking for an upgrading battle-rama. The humor is very slight while not in your face yet clever and funny. The graphics are simple, yet animated. we always appreciate it when someone takes the time to do something like that. Love this game, and would highly recommend it.
