Throughout the mission, players have the opportunity to select from over 120 unique non-numerical upgrade options to enhance their character’s strengths or mitigate their weaknesses. You can choose your preferred character to embark on the mission set in a monster-infested location. The game offers a diverse selection of characters, including a recently arrived sheriff, a retired and injured athlete, a yoga instructor, and even a Taoist priest skilled in exorcism. With numerous character options available, each possessing their own distinct abilities and vulnerabilities, players must strategically choose enhancements tailored to their character’s skills and shortcomings.
By doing so, they can amplify their character’s expertise or compensate for any significant weaknesses. Successful completion of quests grants “blessings” that aid players in subsequent missions. Even if a mission is unsuccessful, notable performance in certain aspects of the game grants permanent upgrades for all characters.
