Very good ps1 style horror where are going to experience a great fear within yourself while being dazed among the dangers.
You awaken in a dingy storage room in a pile of rubble and dust. Observing your surroundings you notice a massive hole in the ceiling. How curious. Dazed from the fall and mildly confused you venture into the twisted depths of the Heilwald Klinikum…
About the Game: The Heilwald Loophole takes the classic survival horror trope of being stuck in a run-down hospital/asylum and being chased by crazed nurses and doctors but adds an important twist: wet is impossible to die. Every action, every decision merely opens up a new pathway to venture down leading you deeper into the Heilwald Klinikum. How far does it go? And what is that god damn loophole about?
First impressions: Great mix of jump scares and rising tension. Terrific low-fi aesthetic. The only downside is it could use more visual settings, and we weren’t able to remap controls. Otherwise, this is a great horror game with some clever scares and a good story built around a solid gameplay loop. we will update when we’ve played more.
Cool game. The graphics give the game an eerier vibe than a high-definition game would have done. Looking forward to future releases from the creator. The staff of the Heilwald Klinikum is sure to give you a spook. They’ll make you jump, run, hide, but also laugh from time to time.

Pros of The Heilwald Loophole:
- This game is wide rather than long and has a tone of side and optional content by design.
- To beat the game just rushing through is easy but the way the game is designed encourages you to loop back to earlier areas over and over again to discover new areas, notes, items, and even side quests and secrets.
- Certain events can even play out a bit differently depending on your approach each time.
