Terminal 81 is an independent game that combines elements of job simulation, mystery, and psychological horror, featuring retro visual aesthetics. Set in the fictional neighborhood of São Paulo, Brazil, in 2008, the game follows the story of Lorena, who, in response to the global financial crisis, decides to migrate to the bustling and affluent city of São Paulo in search of employment opportunities to support her family.
Lorena secures a job at a local supermarket in Terminal 81, unaware of the neighborhood’s grim reality—a dilapidated industrial area plagued by poverty, crime, and squalor. However, as she spends more time in this game, Lorena becomes aware of a disturbing situation: a group of young women has gone missing.
Through exploration and interactions with the neighborhood’s inhabitants, Lorena gradually uncovers the true, darker nature of Terminal 81.
