Tales of Kenzera: ZAU PC Game 2024 review:
Use the dance of the shaman. Recover your dad’s soul.

Fearless the wonderful and slippery place that is known for Kenzera with the Lord of Death in Tales of Kenzera: ZAU, a metroidvania-style experience made by Surgent Studios. A lamenting kid starts to peruse a Bantu story composed by his late dad. Experience into the lovely and slippery grounds of Kenzera as Zau, a youthful shaman who deals with the Lord of death to bring his Baba back from dimness. With your enormous powers and untried boldness, you advance into obscure legendary grounds.
Once overflowing with life, Kenzera is currently overflowing with lost tribal spirits. As Zau propels toward his objective, 3 powerful creatures lie on pause, fearsome in their solidarity yet some way or another oddly reminiscent. Will you embrace the dance of the shaman? Created by Surgent Studios, the diversion studio established by entertainer Abubakar Salim (Professional killer’s Ideology: Beginnings, Raised by Wolves) and distributed by EA Firsts, Tales of Kenzera: ZAU takes you on an exhilarating profound excursion enlivened by the rich fantasies of Bantu societies.
Pros of Tales of Kenzera: ZAU:
- Where the game truly sparkles is the story and show. This is the narrative of a young fellow figuring out how to push ahead after the passing of his dad through the edge of a story established in African legends, and it’s done stupendously. This is a Metroidvania similarly to Siblings:
- A Story of Two Children was. A moving story, with incredible characters and voicework, beautiful artstyles and music of Tales of Kenzera: ZAU.
- The interactivity could have a couple of trouble spots, however, it’s workable, and it’s a method for driving the excursion and the story.
- Couple that with the very underused and underexplored setting and character types, and I’d very much want to see more games like this.
