Her expectations quickly shatter as she finds herself trapped in a harrowing nightmare. Cursed by the malevolent Demon King, Aura now faces a nightly struggle to hunt down her nemesis and ultimately vanquish him. Yet, her adversaries are not limited to the confines of Roya alone. Through the curse bestowed upon her by the Demon King, a sinister force infiltrates Aura’s mind, attempting to manipulate and corrupt her from within in Star Knightess Aura.

As the player assumes control of Aura, they can explore the vast world of Roya in their quest to locate and eliminate the Demon King. To grow stronger and gather resources for their search, Aura can rely on her own abilities or seek assistance from others. However, not everyone has Aura’s best interests at heart. Engaging in indecent acts and compromising her moral principles by allowing innocent lives to suffer will cause Aura to succumb to corruption. In a unique twist, the player also takes charge of Alicia, who utilizes Aura’s corruption to alter her mindset.

This includes transforming her interests, nurturing a fascination for fashion, modifying her appearance (including changes to her hairstyle and color), reshaping her values (resulting in a more self-centered Aura), and ultimately manipulating her sexual desires and romantic interests. Throughout the game, the player bears witness to cutscenes that depict Aura’s true self evolving over time due to the insidious effects of mental corruption.
