Star Dynasties PC Game 2021 review:
An interesting mix of Stellaris and Crusader Kings in “light”. Still feels a bit empty. If you wanted to visit Darth Vader, here is your opportunity.
To paint is quite interesting, although the paint is a little diluted so far, in vain they minus: the same Imperator – Rome at first played worse since we can compare it with Parahods. A bit of detail and depth doesn’t hurt, however.
So with my brief insight, the game was quite fun, it is a different kind of sci-fi strategy game, but sometimes the tips of the game can be fatal if you attack someone because the game meant you were thinking clearly and then lose a lot. Another thing that bothers me: The game is turn-based and while with the Crusader Kings series you always have the feeling that what is going on (because of pausable real-time and animations on the map) everything is pretty static here. Events are only held between trains, which definitely takes getting used to.
Graphically, everything is quite static: the only animation is the sun in the system window. The fact that you can’t rename anything is also a downer that bothers me – not even my own children when they are born.
Pros of Star Dynasties:
- Celebrate your achievements by hosting lavish feats and ingratiate yourself with other rulers. Marry off your family members to stabilize your empire or build external alliances.
- Safeguard your reputation. Act honorably and bravely, then strike ruthlessly when the opportunity presents itself. Pursue justice for your vassals or punish and exploit them for their crimes.
- Use your spies to uncover the secrets of your opponents or spread lies about them. Arrest their agents and negotiate for the release of your own.
