People who like the “Observation Duty” series will also love Spectator, since it’s essentially the same, only with the difference that Spectator uses well-known horror games as models for its levels.
From your small office, you will monitor anomalous activity through CCTV cameras. You have to monitor the controlled location and apply countermeasures in case of manifestations of the anomaly. But be careful, if you miss too many anomalies, then your life will be in danger!
Loved the Observation duty games so this was another one of those but with themes similar to other games. My only issue is I don’t approve of having to go back and play normal/hard to get achievements if I beat Nightmare. I get adding replay value but once you beat nightmares, the lesser difficulty is just a time sink. The game is still very enjoyable and even better with friends.
The references to other games are fantastic, and easily the best part of the game. I won’t spoil those. Decent variety of anomalies per room. Something like 10 or so, didn’t count exact. Gameplay is simple. This could be seen as a negative and in some ways it is. Fun stream game. It’s pretty cool to have chat to help you spot the difference.
