Sonic 3D Blast PC Game 2010 review:
An unusual presentation of an old story and various chips that are only in this game. It’s overall unusual and interesting.

Dr. Eggman (AKA Dr. Robotnik) discovers unusual birds known as Flickies that can transport anywhere using Dimension Rings. Successfully capturing the Flickies, Robotnik turns them all into robots to help him find the Chaos Emeralds. Sonic must save the Flickies by freeing them from their robotic prison and prevent Robotnik from finding the Chaos Emeralds.
Sonic 3D Blast, also known as Sonic 3D Flickies’ Island in Europe, is an isometric take on a mix of Sonic platforming, serving as a spinoff to the franchise, and Flicky collecting’n’leading hot action. It was developed by Travellers Tales and Sonic Team, the former doing the main programmer job while the latter came with game design ideas and some more. Well, they did want Sonic 3 to be isometric, to begin with. Also riding on a whole pre-rendered trend that went hip with Donkey Kong Country. Published by Sega in 1996 in the West only. 32 Megabit ROM, the biggest that Sega Genesis can see at a single time.
Pros of Sonic 3D Blast:
- This game has been out for a while.
- The team is well past the first unveiling of their creative baby, but being the good parents they are, these devs continue to nurture and support their creation.
- This game, to this day, is still getting new content after all these years.
