This game transforms the charismatic Shovel Knight universe into a great and addictive action puzzle. The main concept of bumping into enemies to attack them is simple, however, to survive it is essential to make combos to attack multiple opponents simultaneously, which is not always easy to execute. Part of the fun is getting to assemble huge combinations capable of clearing much of the screen.
Different types of monsters, heroes with different abilities and many items bring diversity to the adventure, as well as various game modes. On the negative side, sometimes the matches look too much and the action gets confused amidst the visual chaos in certain situations, however these are details that can be overlooked. Furthermore, Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon captivates with its creativity and is a recommendation for those who appreciate action puzzles.
