The forces of Entropy are spreading chaos through the stars, corrupting living planets and urging on the heat death of the universe. Led by the psychic Owl, one scrappy team of space survivors are fighting to restore the balance. A mysterious mech! A sharpshooting amphibian!
Together they must cut through waves of enemies and restore light and life to the galaxy! It’s dangerous to go alone! Play solo, or team up with a friend, each taking control of either the frog or the robot in Shoulders of Giants: Ultimate.
Overall, this is a tepid recommendation. The core loop of going on a mission, dissecting your loot, then rinse-and-repeating is fun, as is the general movement and combat. It’s not mind-blowing, but most people could get a good handful of hours of fun from this game blasting baddies and collecting loot. If you’re interested in it, give it a shot. It’s cute and seems pretty well put together.
