A Job Interview Gone Very Wrong

Chelsea walks into a mostly deserted commercial building for what should be a normal job interview. Instead, the situation quickly turns into a nightmare.

The building is full of warning signs. Some floors are sealed off, the elevators don’t work, strange sounds come from places that should be empty, and even the security guard seems suspicious.

After Chelsea wakes up in the parking garage, things get much worse. Someone inside the building doesn’t want her to leave.

SHOCKFACE includes classic tank controls, late-PS2-style visuals, and a tense atmosphere where running and hiding matter far more than fighting.

Explore, Search, and Piece Things Together

The building needs to be explored floor by floor, from abandoned offices and basements to rooms hiding secrets that were never meant to be found.

Along the way, players will come across keys, tools, letters, environmental clues, and item-based puzzles. Some clues are easy to miss, while others can open up completely new areas.

Not everything is as straightforward as it first appears. A single correct action can reveal the next part of the building, while making the wrong move could put Chelsea in serious danger.

The story also introduces a handful of strangers who may seem friendly, charming, suspicious, or something else entirely. As the interview turns into a deadly trap, their role in what is happening becomes part of the mystery.

Stay Quiet and Find a Way Out

There is no combat system here. When the killer gets close, fighting isn’t an option.

Instead, pay attention to the sounds around you, learn how the building is laid out, watch where the killer goes, and find somewhere safe to hide. Sometimes the smartest move is simply to stay still and wait in SHOCKFACE.

Every encounter becomes a question of timing. Wait too long and the danger gets closer. Move too soon and getting caught could be the end.

The building itself becomes part of the challenge, with hiding spots and routes that need to be learned as the search for an escape continues.

A Short 90s-Style Horror Experience

SHOCKFACE is designed as a focused, single-sitting horror game rather than a long adventure. A typical first playthrough takes around 90 minutes.
