After the fishing trip takes a sudden turn, Bucky finds himself on a mysterious island where his friends are taken captive by a group of wolves for disturbing the peace. Join Bucky on a puzzle-filled adventure across the vast expanse of Nulla Terra as he assists his friends in repairing damages, fixing their boat, and finding a way back home. Known as Shipwrecked (or Shipwrecked 64 as it’s popularly known online), this game was originally developed in the late 90s by Cogware Games, a relatively unknown game studio, commissioned by the esteemed Broadside Animation Studio of that time.
During its initial release from August 13th to August 17th, 1997, Shipwrecked gained a reputation for its mysterious nature. It received minimal promotion from Cogware and none from Broadside. This downloadable version represents the closest experience to playing the original game. Luckily, the Shipwrecked Recovery Crew (SWRC) obtained an original cartridge, extracted its contents, and converted the code into a new software format. With the assistance of two original developers, the SWRC made this game accessible to everyone.
While Shipwrecked 64 presents itself as an authentic product, it’s important to note that it is a work of fiction. Some scenes in the game contain graphic and violent elements.
