This is a rather unique representative of the genre, it has always stood out for its extraordinary. But memorable guns and a large variety of opponents who had to be destroyed not in confined locations.
Mankind repeatedly repels attacks on its home planet (apparently, all the cosmic possessions, which the introduction of the first part says, have already been lost), but the forces are running out. However, the command has a plan on how to tip the scales in their favor – Sam and his team need to get the legendary Grail (references to Indiana Jones on the spot). Allegedly, he has tremendous strength, sufficient to give a decisive rebuff to the alien invader. The third part at one time went for boring introductory missions, and Serious Sam 4 tried to fix it.
Of course, an exciting scene is the last thing players look for in Serious Sam. But it is worth noting that the authors succeeded in secondary characters, some of whom you even remember a couple of days after the finale. And Sam himself, a well-known joke lover, shoots wit as well as bullets, giving out another joke literally every few seconds.
