In its classic forms (just like Mario, Meat Boy, Celeste, etc.), we will find a game that begins simple, which becomes more complex as we progress, which gradually adds new mechanics.

RUN: The World In-Between is a highly dynamic platform game with procedurally-generated levels. Inspired by Celeste, Dead Cells, Scourge Bringer, and even Super Meat Boy, your movements will have to be as quick as they are precise. In a place where everything is constantly moving, you will have to face the dangers of the World In-Between to reach for the light. Dodge the most devious traps while relying on your reflexes, hoping for a better future.
The game’s movement is good, but it’s not as solid or has the quality of life of Celeste; it reminds me more of Super Meat Boy with a dash. However, having no freeze frames makes the game appear more fluid, as well as makes it more likely that you’ll miss an input.
It’s a surprisingly well-made precision platformer game as the genre is currently overflowing with sub-par products. The controls in this game are fluid and very reactive, and the rooms are designed with multiple routes including speedrun shortcuts which are fun to exploit.
