The game is by far the greatest rugby manager out there. Tonnes of fun and a huge improvement on the previous version
It is the only complete rugby manager game, not completely perfect but very enjoyable. Don’t be put off by the lack of licenses, there is a discord for the game where other users have updated and shared the correct databases for the majority of leagues now. we are assuming workshops will open up in the future for those who don’t use Discord as well. But… there are many things that left to be desired. For example, our main complaint is about tactics.
In most matches, we just sit and watch, since the tactical options are very limited, not much to change that would have a big impact on changing the course of the match. While we don’t know much about rugby IRL, we highly doubt that those are the only tactics managers have at their disposal.
there’s no interaction with the press and with the players individually, other than sending them to the individual training sessions. You can’t actually see the chemistry in the locker room and on the pitch, you can’t see if and why you are liked or despised. There are some reputation indicators and some emails from the GM adjusting their support to your results, but not more than that.
