Operation Raccoon City is a game of the Third Person Shooter genre. However, not everything is solved by easy triggers. Within the game, we will have to know how to manage our equipment: ammunition, grenades, and both sprays (first aid and antiviral). We will have the melee option, which has different combinations to execute on the soldiers and zombies: Using it as a shield, cutting/breaking their necks, hitting/shooting them in the face, inserting bombs, injecting them with a strain of the virus and turning them into our infected allies (also applies in the BOWs), pushing them towards the zombies or vice versa, and among others. Each character will have a different category: Assault, Demolition, Recon, Medic, Surveillance, and Field Scientist. We will have two types of skills that we can unlock with points earned and we can level up: Passive and Active. The Passives are 2, both will equip themselves once purchased. The Assets are 3 but we can only equip one in each chapter. We can take cover between walls, boxes, vehicles, etc., and shoot the soldiers from our position, being sure of their bullets (try to cover the entire body of the character).
The primary weapon can be replaceable with those of the soldiers once killed (we can also take our partner’s if he ends up dead) or take some weapons that we will find in the corners of Raccoon City while we defend ourselves with the secondary weapon (pistol).
