Recollection PC Game 2023 review:
A sweet small independent game with a meditative, peaceful ambiance and a memorable music. It’s a group of straightforward, enjoyable mini-games that all contribute to a positive end.
All the same, all the time. Day in, day out. But maybe there is more, if you just look close enough … and remember. Recollect your surroundings Bring the forgotten wonders of this beautiful world back to your attention. Varied gameplay: Rediscover fascinating things like the stars, flowers and trees in playful experiences. Two game modes: Face the many threats these wonders are facing in the optional second “fragile mode”. Accessibility: Adjust the game to your likings through many settings, i.e. change the difficulty seamlessly at any time without getting punished for it.
It starts pretty slow and you think is this it? But the actual beauty of this game is the calmnes of it all. It’s actually one of the most relaxing games I’ve played in a long time.
The minigames sprinkled in between are great and super intuitive even when played with a controller. The world gets prettier and prettier the longer you play and eventually you realize what you would have in your own life if you just looked a bit more closely.
