Raidborn totally keeps its promise of being a straightforward first person dungeon crawler. There is no unnecessary fluff and it cuts straight to the action. we have been following the development of Raidborn for a long time and also played the demo when it came out about a month ago.
Usually we prefer isometric RPGs and don’t play first person RPGs a lot, so the combat took some time for us to get used to. In the demo combat was tough for us and we think it is super cool the developer listened to the feedback of the community and made great improvements, for example to the parrying mechanic. And this is still Early Access, so we am sure he has more up his sleeve!
Very simple game. Remember all those hours on skyrim exploring dungeons and fighting off draugrs? Yeah this game is exactly this over and over again. It can get a bit repetitive but I found the enemies challenging enough and to warrant playing. 7/10 check out the roadmap, looks promising!
