Phantom Abyss PC Game 2021 review:
This is a Runner platform With an Indiana Jones vibe (Well not really, but hey straight away we thought about this). a guy running with a whip, Indiana Jones, right?
The goal is to succeed in completely finishing randomly generated dungeons, the one who arrives at the end of the end closes it definitively and grabs the relic.
The game is not really played alone since you accompany in your peril the ghosts of the players who died previously in this dungeon …. Which can be both help, but also an obstacle.
Pros of Phantom Abyss:
- The game runs quite smoothly on our 4K monitor with rarely any FPS drops
- The movement is so fluid and fun, being able to strafe around objects is rewarding when done well. The whip also gives the game a nice level of depth where if used correctly you can completely skip certain parts of the puzzles.
- This game is tense, getting chased by a guardian and then worrying about the obstacles is a real rush currently.
- The ghosts are quite fun and we enjoy when you do a run with multiple because as you progress and see others die it makes you feel like you’re achieving something the others didn’t
- Powers and different whips add to each run being different
- Sharing your failed runs with friends is super cool and will be great for games nights with all of us trying to compete
