This is the sequel to the first part, Escape from the ’80s. Just like its predecessor, this game is an escape room with a funny little story.
You play as a detective who is super into the supernatural, and you’ve been tasked with tracking down a girl who went missing back in 1998 at the old abandoned mall- possibly the arcade where her big sister worked. Investigate the old haunted arcade in an abandoned dead mall to try and find the missing girl!
This game is immersive and has more easter eggs than the bunny itself. It’s a solid mental workout, with the hint system well implemented that it can steer you in the right direction without giving you the answer or leaving you feeling unsatisfied for requesting a hint. Not that we had to use this though.
If you liked Paranormal Detective: Escape from the ’80s, you’ll love this sequel! While one or two of the puzzles may seem obscure at first, after a bit of reflection, it will come. And just in case it doesn’t, the phone-based help system is excellent. Just a bit of help, then more, then straight to the point.
