If you remember any detective mode in “Arkham Batman”, where you have to walk along the pieces of the road, restoring the picture of an event or reaching an important place, then yes, it is somewhat similar. Fire the squirrel’s route on the camera, rearrange the cameras by the next night to light up a new piece of the path, and so on until you reach the desired point. Quite entertaining, especially since the game takes about three hours. There is an atmosphere of nature, “Firewatch” pops up in my memory, but the style is above any detail.
Now about the cons. There are only two complaints. First, you will not get ANY answers to your questions, get ready right away. The game is catching up on intrigue, but the knot doesn’t unravel by the credits. Let me just say that this is not a horror at all, if you thought so at first. In the course of the plot, there are cassettes for a voice recorder, local notes that is. Maybe the whole plot was shoved there, but, firstly, I found only three of them, and secondly, they did not tell anything particularly useful, and thirdly, it’s just despondency to do this if the answers to questions are in notes. And second, this is in places an undercooked translation: here and “no power for the generator” (or something like that), and “find where the protein goes” instead of “where”, and “credits” in the main menu.
