Ayame belongs to the Oboro-style, a clan of lethal assassins trained to move with astonishing swiftness, their purpose being to administer justice to those deserving of it. This mission holds great significance for the newlywed ninja, as success would allow her to retire with honor and live a peaceful life alongside her husband.
The objective of her final assignment is Amakusa Castle, the residence of a formidable general who is rumored to be involved in the despicable practice of slave trade. Ayame’s duty is to reveal the truth behind these allegations, and to accomplish this, she assumes the identity of a hired mercenary, gaining Lord Amakusa’s trust. While undercover, she is compelled to follow his crude commands, turning her mission into a true test of her resolve.
