In the second Nelson adventure, the anti-hero is invited to a magical competition where he is asked to prove his skills as a potion brewmaster.
“Nelson and the Magic Cauldron: The Journey” is a classic point & click adventure, with lots of puzzles and funny dialogues. In his new adventure, Nelson is invited to a competition where all participants are supposed to prepare magic potions. Unfortunately, he is already late to make the necessary preparations, but his uncle Sid had the saving idea … a trip with an airship. In this game, there are again a lot of crazy characters who confront Nelson with almost unsolvable tasks. But of course everything with a lot of humor.
Nelson and the Magic Cauldron: The Journey is a nice point-and-click starter game with humorous lines, relaxing music, and nicely drawn art. The game has 4 chapters the first one being the longest. we enjoyed the last chapter. Veterans will probably finish the game in 60-90s minutes while occasional point and click gamers like us will take around 2 hours.

The overall feel is good and the DEV did a great job. Our only gripe with the game is the price point. we think it is rather high and only recommend this game when on sale at a great reduction. Remember the game does not have much replay value for the buck and is about a 60 to 90-minute gameplay. Enjoy
