It is practically impossible for me to verify if all levels can be completed using every combination of tools. However, this is what makes the experience so rewarding: there is no predefined solution for you to follow, and it encourages you to think creatively. The game continuously presents randomized obstacles and it is solely up to you to find solutions since even I, as the creator, have never encountered them before.
There are no safety measures in place. You might come across the same item multiple times in a row, or you might complete the game without encountering it at all. Each playthrough only includes a portion of the total levels, which are also randomly selected. The outcome is unpredictable. This lack of predictability allows you to let go of the pressure to “win” and instead focus on enjoying the experimentation. Entertaining moments occur more frequently when you don’t try to force them.
Due to the random selection of content from a pool of options, incorporating new levels, tools, and challenges into Mosa Lina is quite effortless. During development, I had to remove numerous elements to maintain the project’s scope, but I am excited about reintegrating them after the release. There are some exceptionally peculiar aspects that I can’t wait to revisit!
