The resource management of combining cards in your hand to make bigger attacks is a cool and intuitive system, and having a dedicated “Reversal” resource to counter cards takes away The Counter Deck, one of the things I despise about playing most CCGs.

The idea of playing attacks and then watching your create-a-wrestler play them out is also a really cool idea, but it needs some implementation tweaks. The quick cuts to different static poses is I assume a good solution from a “game using all my CPU resources” perspective, but over the course of an entire match I start feeling motion sick. The flashing lights when you open a card pack could use another run too, I don’t have photosensitivity issues myself but when I tried to show my wife the animation she had to turn away.

Amazing and fun game. There’s nothing really like it if you’re a wrestling fanatic. Mix between Hearthstone and other cardgames where you have to combine cards together for more damage and crazier moves. Can’t wait what will be added in the future. You can even make your own cards!
