Malice & Greed is an Action, Adventure, and Strategy game for PC published by Xendra in 2021. Some of my chaotic gameplay!
Malice & Greed PC Game 2021 review:
Deckbuilding roguelike with the ability to pick up defeated enemies. Very creative and dynamic. We collect mobs with the characteristics we need, we have 4 at our disposal, plus the same amount in stock.
We hit with those spells, under which the enemy is vulnerable, we complete quests, we get amplifications. In general, fun and a little messy process, the need to understand the mechanics are high, but it will help in overcoming the levels. I definitely advise you to take a closer look.
Jokes aside, this game has very good art, visuals, and OST and, despite being inspired by SMT, it is very unique and interesting. The battle mechanics are also very similar, the game is similar to Slay the Spire and Darkest Dungeon, in other words, an RPG with a rogue-like turn, but it is much more complex than these games, to the point of being quite intimidating at first. It has several points where it can improve, but it is certainly very promising.
This game is a remarkably creative “RPG Deckbuilder”, of a sort, with certain mechanics that remind me of Abyss Odyssey. At its core, it’s a turn-based RPG where you assemble your party by recruiting from the enemies you defeat; taking advantage of their distinct passive and active abilities to build a synergistic and powerful team, further enhanced by the unique moddability of your main character.
Pros of Malice & Greed:
- Soundtrack that slaps
- Excellent variety of enemies
- Decent replay-ability with staring variations
- As you die you learn mechanic Cons – No way to upgrade starting moves
