Madville+ is an Action, Adventure, and Casual game for PC published by Mushy Jukebox in 2022. Dynamic battles in arenas with tremendous divergence and content!
Madville+ PC Game 2022 review:
The gameplay is a thoroughbred roguelike. It’s kind of like Risk of Rain in miniature, flattened into a microscopic arena. For killing enemies we get gold. For gold between the stages, we buy weapons and a bunch of various upgrades.

Madville+ is a rogue-lite / arena shooter with ridiculous upgrades. It is designed to have short play sessions (30-40 min) and replayability. A good take on the genre. It separates from the other games in the same genre with its humor and story elements. Every time you end a run, you watch a funny, short cutscene with dialogues that put a smile on your face.
we found a specific design choice in the game pointless. For example, there is a “base” weapon and a “drop” weapon slot in your inventory. Every wave, you need to kill a few enemies with your base weapon so that the primary weapon that you have invested in can drop, and you can play with it. It is frustrating since there are only a few upgrade slots you can upgrade your base weapon with, and it is really weak against enemies after a certain wave number unless you are lucky with the upgrades you’ve rolled. The game also does not have any window resolution settings at its current phase, so we had to play with a not-so-desired resolution.
