Lost Planet Extreme Condition Colonies Edition is an Action, Adventure, and Survival game for PC published by Capcom in 2010. Sure enough, it is a classic!
Lost Planet Extreme Condition Colonies Edition PC Game 2010 review:
Even in simple difficulty, the boss battles are still challenging. The overall rhythm is very refreshing but the weapons are rich and each has its own characteristics.
(v1.0.1.0 Update added)
It has a not so deep storyline, the story may seem very basic to many, but it is still worth seeing the cutcenes between missions. From what we understand the plot of the other games in the series uses the first as a basis, making the campaign mode more attractive in the continuation of the series.
The game takes place on a frozen planet, where the protagonist Wayne who lost his memory fights against the Akirids (monsters present on the planet), the snow pirates (humans) and the NEVEC members using an arsenal that in our opinion could be more vast. In addition to all arsenal Wayne can still use some models of Vital Suits (V.Ss), which are mechs (robots) that also have their own arsenal. Like Wayne, VSs can attach new weapons during missions, respecting the maximum limit of two weapons at the same time.
Final Thoughts and Some Tips
The game is worth it, as it is fun and the investment of time and money in it is short. It’s always on sale on Steam. we didn’t play Multiplayer mode, we just finished campaign mode and had a lot of fun. If you are playing with a keyboard and mouse, be sure to disable the aiming assistant in the game options. It gets in the way, because the game chooses its target alone, to facilitate those who use control for the PC.
