LIGHT Black Cat & Amnesia Girl PC Game 2022 review:
A dark-style third-person puzzle adventure game, telling the story of a mysterious black cat who rescues and leads a girl with amnesia to overcome all difficulties and finally escape.
In the adventure of “LIGHT”, you take on the role of a mysterious black cat who leads an exciting adventure for a little girl who has lost her memory. Set in dark and spooky fantasy, explore this world with care as you face the omnipresent dark monsters. As a cat, there’s only so much you can do, so do your best to guide the little girl to solve the puzzle that leads to the exit. Look around carefully and be careful not to let her make the wrong decision.
Light is a Dark Puzzle Action game, in which the player will be exploring/escaping levels in order to take the light of the enemy of the level. While the first level feels closer to Little Nightmares, as the player will be avoiding the butler and attempting to progress the game. The game is a lot slower and the player will take time to progress through environments, puzzles are longer than in Little Nightmares and may require multiple attempts to work out what to do. As the game progresses the puzzles become the more dominant aspect of the game, with a few chase scenes in level 2, while level 3 is a more slow methodical puzzle across the map.
Pros of LIGHT Black Cat & Amnesia Girl:
- A very enjoyable game, whilst it has its obvious inspirations it really does stand as its own universe.
- We did experience one glitch during my play through on the wolf level where there is the fire podium you have to raise up to be able to burn the overgrown leaves to move forward.
- Highly recommended.
- A very nice concept.
