As darkness descends, protect your territory from the infected! This game allows you to play in any city worldwide, utilizing authentic geographical data. “The Mad Virus” has rapidly spread across the globe, with infected individuals displaying heightened aggression, speed, and strength. Within a few weeks, society has crumbled, leaving cities deserted. No electricity, water, or food remains, but a handful of survivors remain. Choose a city or town name, download the corresponding map, and embark on your gameplay! Thanks to OpenStreetMap’s comprehensive data, you can select any location on Earth for your survivors.

Construct new farms and power stations. Fortify your settlement with walls, gates, and towers. Leverage your knowledge of the city. Determine the optimal defensive positions. Identify the locations of grocery stores, pharmacies, and potential weapon caches. However, exercise caution when exploring old buildings, as lurking infected pose a constant threat. Each night, your settlement faces the possibility of large-scale attacks from hordes of the infected.

Utilize every available resource, including melee and ranged weapons, vehicles, walls, and light, to repel them. Pursue research on a vaccine or cure to secure ultimate victory, or simply revel in the process of rebuilding entire cities! Remember, your Zone is not the sole surviving enclave. Your survivors are likely to encounter other groups. Some may be amicable and open to trade, while others will exhibit extreme hostility. Engaging in combat may become necessary!
