Shadow, the weakest of the incubi and one of the only two survivors, must embark on a journey in an alternate world. His purpose is to undergo extensive training before he can gather the strength to resist the succubi, who are his enemy.
In the land of Lugrand, a long-standing war between succubi and incubi has been raging. Unfortunately, Shadow was born as the weakest incubus ever known. When the succubi launch a sudden attack, they manage to capture or eliminate nearly all the incubi, except for Shadow. His survival is attributed to a mysterious power that awakened within him. However, due to his inherent weakness, it is decided that he should train against humans before challenging the succubi. Therefore, he teleports to Ardia, an alternate world, where he hopes to gain experience and potentially find allies. The challenge lies in the fact that even against humans, Shadow’s weakness as an incubus puts him at risk of defeat.
In Ardia, Shadow will explore the land and undergo a process of growth and empowerment. His goal is to become stronger before returning to Lugrand and initiating a resistance against the succubi and their formidable army. Through numerous battles, Shadow will learn not only to handle himself but also to understand his adversaries. Despite his weakness, he possesses a newfound power that grants him agency.
Battles are not merely physical clashes, but also strategic exchanges where Shadow must adapt his skills based on the inclinations of his current opponent.
