Heroes Rise The Prodigy PC Game 2012 review:
In this game, you start as a young hero who grew up with his grandmother. You get your license right at the beginning and then it starts.
There is a lot to choose from when it comes to creating the protagonist. Name, superhero alias, powers, outfit, gender and sexuality (anything is possible here. There is at least one romance for everyone. Nobody is forced, however) to name just a few. And everything in history is dealt with.
Anyone who knows the English language should definitely watch the game. “Interactive fiction” is one of the UR genres of video games. Zork is a well-known representative here. That may seem too complex to some nowadays. But the “Choice-of-Games” boys managed to develop a simple yet highly fun variant.
The forum has already indicated that the success of these two games is important. At least when we want to see more. And there is a lot. Mecha pilots, rock stars, lawyers of the underworld, sheriff of a western town, vampires in the south of the USA, wrestling superstar, or captain of the Navy are just a few roles that these games have to offer.
Pros of Heroes Rise The Prodigy:
- Of course, the genre is not for everyone, there is no graphics or sound at all, but there are few places to see such choice possibilities.
- The story is also very, very interesting, somewhat sad and “dark”, but it doesn’t slip into hopelessness. Although one of the main intrigues (who is Prodigy) is obvious from the very beginning, but some plot twists are more than impressive.
In some places, the language is complicated (the names of plant flowers in English for choosing the “color of strength”, why) this part was removed, but it’s easy to google.
