CodeHatch’s Heat game has been available in Early Access since yesterday. Since I’ve recently been refusing to rate early access games, we’ll just take a look around this game because I actually think the game is a game with potential.
First of all! In return for some other developers, this developer at least manages to implement something that was announced in his trailer. The graphics are not the best for today’s games, but they still look very chic. Building houses, establishing tribes and colonies, one of the players is always president, a sheriff, everything seems to be working so far. The president sets the tax that players have to pay.
This is done by creating a shipping box where you can sell your collected or manufactured items. There are grave coins that can be deposited in your claim flag as taxes. Claiming is a big topic in this game anyway. The world is huge and any of the squares can be claimed. Disadvantage, of course … larger taxes are incurred for the enlarged country.
