Corral some dudes and chop them up, in five ways. Look, it’s not complicated. Engaging and cathartic arcade fun.
Five Ronin, destined for death. The only things they trust – are their weapon and their speed. Use your mouse and draw your line of attack to kill your enemies in endless arena combat. Everything can be killed in one hit – including you. How long can you survive?
This game is exactly as fun as it looks. You’d think it’d get boring quickly, but surprisingly it doesn’t, especially with there being a global leaderboard for points. Currently, there are 5 characters, and they all play very differently from one another. There’s a VERY minor bug for Hideyoshi, where he’ll sometimes not be in I-frames, even if he should be, but other than that it’s a fantastic game for a mere 2 dollars.
It is really easy to get into Haiyai, and if you have a mouse and keyboard, you’re ready to go since it will probably run on anything. The art style is really cool and it is extremely satisfying. Yes, you play a weapon-wielding Ronin, but the combat is artistic and generally rewarding. Now you can download and play this game for free on this site for the first time.
