HAAK PC Game 2020 review:
It feels like a cyberpunk version of Hollow Knight, Ori, and Azure and a little bit of Samurai Zero. Fight with all you have.

We think it can be called brave Ori. The current game experience of playing for 4 hours is more jumping than playing, which is the design style of Ori and Elves. It is not based on combat and the timing and thinking of postgraduate operation. But the wonderful thing is that the game map design incorporates Hollow Knight’s design ideas at the same time. Generally speaking, it often feels like another village, so we think Huck’s map is better than Ori! The pixel-style but very sophisticated graphics are eye-catching, and the hand-painted battle animation stunned our eyes.
The Chinese-style cyberpunk made us really feel the desolation of the end, but there is still a familiar taste. The levels that can be played at present are all well-designed and carefully designed, and many of the materials are individually designed for individual scenes, and there is no perfunctory performance at all. Personally, we highly recommend that friends who like the Soul series, Nioh, Ori and Elf, and Hollow Knight can start with the current extremely cost-effective price. This game fully shows what is value for money! Finally, let’s talk about some areas that need improvement. The background music of the first level was too noisy, which destroyed the original apocalyptic atmosphere.
Pros of HAAK:
- The guys are working in the right direction, there are both familiar mechanics and their own specific design.
- The atmosphere is excellent, the soundtrack is generally fire, the ears just enjoyed the sounds, plus the music itself is at a height with the transitions from calm gameplay to danger.
- This is a great understanding of how platforms should work and how to add the necessary dynamism to combat.
- An excellent start for general access.
