This game shows all the important approaches to becoming great once some work has gone into it. The basic idea and a large part of the implementation are already presentable and you can have a few hours of fun with the game.

please don’t EXPECT a bug-free, balanced product, because the game definitely has its rough edges. we already address some of these things in our videos and you can see very quickly when you watch where there is still a problem. See a purchase as an investment rather than anything else. UPDATE 12/24/2020 The game is still not where it should be to be viewed as more than an investment. Some things have improved, but you still stumble across game-breaking bugs. At least there is now a decent save function that allows you to save in battles.
Regardless of what you think about the type of control, which is designed for Macro, but just can’t get by without Micro at the moment, and regardless of whether you like the switchable Feud mechanics or not – the reason why we have not yet played a full campaign is that this is simply hardly possible for us in the current state, because after 2 hours at the latest on the campaign card, work is over because of something breaks. UI, savestand, whatever.
And no, our PC is not burdened by viruses or anything, etc. The battles are already fun, and the developers have already changed some of the problems and frustrations from our videos. You communicate a lot with the community and us creators in the Steam forums, so we are in good spirits that everything will level off in the course of Early Access and that we will soon be able to play a decent Sandbox 1861 campaign.
