We tried the Demo again today after it updated, now you start the game locked up. we like the game now and It finally got our interest to get it. some of the things you can do in the game are better than we hoped for when we first heard about the game.
There’s a functional open world, lots of AI populating the towns(even if they can act weird sometimes, we find that amusing more than problematic) and the translation doesn’t seem to be too bad.
My main issue so far has been the erratic physics system, which wouldn’t be so bad if the whole game wasn’t built around grabbing, stowing, and carrying small objects in a physics system. It’s very easy, for example, to crouch down, try to close the lid on a storage chest, and accidentally brush the side of it, flinging the chest and all your hard-earned belongings into the air. we lost several expensive gems this way – would be nice if there was some kind of physics dampener or a way to track items you’ve lost.
