G WARRIOR PC Free Download (v1.2F)

G Warrior is a retro hardcore action shooting game. Fight in colorful scenes such as snowy mountains, caves, seas of fire, alien lairs, etc.! ! There are 2 characters, and they seem to get different types of power-ups, but generally from the Contra arsenal like the spread, lasers, flames, and an occasional power boost that makes those guns stronger. On that note, The sprite for the male looked good, but something about the coloring for the girl was a bit off, maybe too much solid color.

Generally the game looked nice though, depending on the location, and usually good pumping music. Level design is perfect. Nothing long and tedious, just testing reflexes and throwing little things at you before getting tricky, then back and forth. There’s a Jungle, there’s an Energy Zone, there’s an Alien Hive… a couple more. You kinda know what to expect, but it pays tribute very well in G WARRIOR.

Bosses are decently telegraphed and varied, though every so often an attack can feel like it’s coming out of nowhere. Sorta like the old stuff, learn and remember the next time. The game is fast, takes everything it needs to from the Contra series while keeping everything tight yet forgiving. In Normal mode, for example, there are a LOT of enemy bullets you can destroy in the air. Unlimited continues, checkpoints give you everything you need.
