EvilSlayer PC Game 2025 Overview:
It’s resulting in a large number of humans going missing or mutating into monsters that only know killing and eating.
The survivors have formed various resistance and self-defense organizations to fight against these monsters in order to survive. Control the protagonist and use bullet hell attacks to eliminate enemies. During battles, the protagonist can acquire and upgrade various additional weapons to enhance combat abilities.
You continue fighting until your stamina runs out (HP reaches zero), then return to the base to upgrade your abilities before heading back into battle. The controls are simple: move, dash, shoot. That’s it. And that’s all you need. The game drops you into a restricted arena and challenges you to survive increasingly aggressive waves of enemies.
The pacing ramps up quickly in EvilSlayer; early waves trickle in, but soon enough, enemies spawn in overwhelming numbers, punishing sloppy aim.
Features of EvilSlayer:
- Defeated enemies drop coins, which you must physically collect before they vanish—a clever risk-reward mechanic that forces you to stay mobile and constantly balance aggression with survival. At the end of each wave, you use money to buy a random selection of three perks.
- These power-ups are key to progression but come with caveats: they’re expensive early on, and new ones only unlock after clearing multiple waves.
- Once unlocked, they become part of your future runs. Some perks are unlocked in challenge rooms that require a key from the store. These rooms also let you buy gems, but the price is still high in EvilSlayer.
- What keeps this from becoming a mindless run-and-gun, though, is the stamina system. Shooting drains it slowly, while dashing consumes a big chunk. It refills quickly, but not quickly enough to let you mindlessly spam your way through combat. Every shot counts, and every dash has to be timed.
