In general, the game looks pretty good – dark fantasy setting, dynamic battles with different monsters that don’t forgive your mistakes and slap you around bravely.
Slash your way through Estencel! Traverse across a corrupted, maze-like city fighting horrors. Customize and arm yourself into the ultimate monster killing assassin in this fast paced dark fantasy Action. Solve the mysteries of this world before they swallow you whole.
Created by a single person, self published, an extremely low price-point and some really unique ideas and mechanics. we will absolutely playing more of this game and it gets our recommendation, easily!
Overall it’s a solid game at a good price point. It’s challenging gameplay and requires quite a bit of patience. It took about 5 hours for me to realize that some parts are just meant to be run through to get to the boss. Once that part was realized, the game became a lot more enjoyable. we recommend it for anyone looking for a dark souls/ bloodborne esque fill.
