Ashe is a 20-year-old futanari dealing with plenty of anxiety and self-doubt. She tends to overthink almost everything and rarely leaves the comfort of her room, keeping herself far away from most of the outside world. Relationships are completely unfamiliar territory, her delivery job offers little excitement, and she has no real goals for the future.

That quiet routine is about to come to an end, though. Ashe’s former closest confidante unexpectedly comes back into her life, while another person learns about the secret she has worked so hard to hide. From that point on, Ashe’s life takes a dramatic turn that cannot easily be undone.

A World Without Men

The story takes place in a modern alternate world where men simply do not exist. Women in this setting can have either female or male genitalia, while a small number are born as “duplo futanari,” meaning they have both.

Unfortunately, duplos have developed a poor reputation in society. They are often stereotyped as overly lustful and sexually deviant, which has caused many of them to conceal their identities. Ashe is one of those women, keeping her status as a duplo hidden from the people around her.

Choices That Shape Ashe’s Story

Eruption Imminent uses a choice-based visual novel format, with important decisions appearing throughout the story. Ashe can be guided along three different paths, each affecting her personality and opening up its own dialogue choices, romantic interests, and sexual scenes.

As the story progresses, each route gradually influences the way Ashe thinks, behaves, and responds to the situations she encounters. Her personality isn’t simply fixed in place; the choices made throughout Eruption Imminent help shape who she becomes.

Most sexual content is optional, and every relationship route can be explored at the player’s discretion. This makes it possible to focus on the parts of the story that are most appealing without having to pursue every romantic or sexual encounter.

The relationship routes also aren’t completely separate from one another. Characters and relationships can overlap, respond to choices made elsewhere, and sometimes create new opportunities for additional scenes or story developments.

Sapphic Romance and Adult Content

Because Eruption Imminent takes place in a world populated entirely by women, all romantic interests and sexual encounters are sapphic. Ashe’s futanari identity also allows for a broad range of adult content involving women and other futanari characters.

Choices can place Ashe in either a dominant or submissive role. Optional scenes also explore group sex, sharing, cuckolding, and various other kinks for players who want to explore those themes.
