What’s a merchant to do? Explore the Dungeon and make her way to the golden land of Eldorante, that’s what! Makane, an arms merchant, rides a ship crossing the sea between two major continents when it meets with misfortune. The Sea God has riled up the oceans, and everyone aboard ends up shipwrecked on the island of Grimt!
Luckily, the people of Grimt are kind and willing to point the now-penniless merchant to the island’s main attraction, the Dungeon. Legend says that the golden land of Eldorante, filled with infinite wealth, sleeps at the bottom of the Dungeon, but the last time anyone ever reached it was before the city of Grimt was founded.
Of course, that doesn’t mean nobody else is trying… Makane soon runs into the prince of a foreign empire who seeks to claim the golden land and its treasures for his homeland. It’s an action-packed race to reach it!
Features of ELDORANTE:
- It is a roguelite game with many Dungeon sections to explore. You can fight enemies in turn-based RPG combat, or avoid them to keep your level low and get better clear rewards when you beat the boss of the section you’re delving into.
- Whether you get defeated or defeat the boss, leaving the Dungeon sets your level back to 1, but you get to keep everything you’ve found along the way.
- And if you feel like helping out the residents of Grimt, you’ll find a cast of kooky characters who want all sorts of items.
- Power up with new equipment, extract skills as gems to equip, cook and eat meals, and recruit numerous partners to choose from for a leg up on subsequent delves!
