In Driftwood, you’ll experience high-speed downhill longboarding as an aerodynamic sloth. Drifting is the name of the game, as it’ll help you strike the perfect balance between speed and control. Drift through tight corners to avoid collision with cars and obstacles, and perform wicked tricks as you take in the beautiful landscape around you. These tricks will help you score points, which will unlock new boards that can be combined with various wheels for diverse skating styles.
There’s still some annoying bugs that are too obvious, I don’t think they should be there even if this is an early access, but the gameplay is very solid and fun. I really hope they polish the maps and give them the detail they deserve, so far the scenarios are already beautiful. The game is definitely going to need a significant amount of new maps to keep this going, but yeah what we got right now is pretty damn good.
