You are going to be placed in a special situation with dolls which may scare you in a worst kind.
This haunting horror game draws you into the mysterious atmosphere of film noir. Delve deep into the mind of Marie, a detective trying to unravel the secrets of her past memory by memory. Use the ‘Focus’ feature to see through the eyes of your pursuer as you try to survive a suspenseful game of cat and mouse.
The single player has a beautiful immersive atmosphere. However, “flashing” dolls and waiting for the flashlight to recharge did become repetitive after a while. It also takes quite a while for the first mini-boss to spawn (see video), which increases the difficulty.
At a first glance Dollhouse is not really innovative in terms of game play however, the mystery revolving around Maria the main protagonist keeps the player intrigued. As a result, Dollhouse offers a creepy Noir theme horror game that has the player go around getting collectibles and keeps them on edge with the eerie atmosphere.
