You need to battle monsters in three different chambers to advance to the next map. In the fourth map, you will only find one Chamber.

In there is a boss. If you win, you will get to salvage one card and one trinket as well as unlock the next difficulty. If you lose, well you lose everything. You get a little bonus starting your next one (+5 gold or +1 potion) tho.
Pros of Deepest Chamber:
- Whereas other games need to implement an option called “fast mode”, Deepest Chamber is already fast if you want it to but don’t worry if you want a slow experience. It’s up to the player how long a battle is. You can take all the time you want.
- There’s a lot of content, different modes, mission types, enemies, etc. For early access, it already offers many hours of fun.
- Brings a lot of new ideas to the genre like new debuffs (Amnesia, can’t see card descriptions), mission types (beat the enemies in 2 minutes and get additional rewards), corpses lying thereafter an enemy died which other enemies can resurrect if you don’t attack the corpse one more time, your HP as a currency, etc.
- It’s very mysterious. You will find people which you can talk to and they say something without giving any context. There is much left to your imagination (Or I didn’t get it yet). There is also buff with seemingly no effect, etc. This reminds me a lot of Dark Souls.
