This is the interactive game of the most popular gamebook which is going to begin with Eddie Marsan.
When the game started, it hit a very strong nostalgia. From a very early age, Ian’s books, “Fantastic Adventures”, were a reference for us in the world of D&D. Being able to play them with the comfort that this PC version brings is sublime. we look forward to new adventures and to bring other books into this format. If you liked Ian Livingstone’s books and the D&D universe in general we highly recommend this game. A real “must have” for lovers of pen and papper rpgs.
Incredibly punishing and frustrating but in the best possible way. Never have we been so immersed in a text adventure. There so much more content for us to discover and we are very excited to do so. This game keeps pretty true to the book its based on and goes as far as to include the original book illustrations to help emphasize the story/lore/world. The inclusion of well placed sound effects and occasional music help hype up battles or emphasize a certain mood. An excellent way to chill out on your couch and unwind, though certain sections may put you on the edge of your seat.
