Darxanadon is an Action, Adventure, and RPG game for PC published by Scumhead in 2022. Quite an enjoyable little action-adventure.

Inspired by a retro-themed 2D action RPG action game, explore an interconnected maze of caves, castles, and groves and have fun.
Demons have risen from above and below. Monsters eat humans and digest them into their greatest fears. A hero awakens from afar. Explore a massively interconnected labyrinth of grottos, castles, and groves in this 2D retro-inspired Action RPG. The game is quite simple. I also seem to have taken a different route than I was supposed to, so I could easily kill everything with the best sword. This was a fun little mini Metroidvania-style game. It harkened back to the original NES days. Had fun. Plays similar to the side-scrolling parts of Zelda 2. Loved the music, but a few of the tracks were a bit longer. The whole game has a lot of promise and could be even better. We think the dev has done a great job. Would love a map that filled out as you wandered the world? Weapons could be a bit more different? The bosses all looked amazing but didn’t require much thought or learning of their patterns, or cleverness. Now you can download this game for free on this site.
