The latest from Bordeaux studio Shiro Games (Evoland, Northguard), Darksburg has just released Early Access. Originally planned to be a mix between Diablo and Left 4 Dead, the development underwent, during its EA, a big turnaround since the decision was made to add the classic components inherent to the genre “Roguelike”. It is never easy to recover from an overhaul in development. It generates many things, additional costs, stress, and the expected result is not always the right one. Here, Darksburg is doing quite well with a fun solo game, and even more co-op, but in which the lack of content when it comes out is quickly felt.
Pros of Darksburg:
- In terms of network, there are servers in mainland China, which is great. If you are the Chinese server of choice, there is a high probability that the accelerator, VPN, and proxy will cause the game connection to fail or even crash. It is recommended to turn off any accelerator, VPN, and proxy, restart steam and enter the game.
- This game has the characteristics of an action game. When an enemy is attacked, it is hard to hit. When surrounded by a group of corpses, a melee character attacking back and forth can effectively make the surrounding enemies get injured and stiff, thereby reducing their own damage. Attacks can reduce skill cooldowns, and maintaining a calm battle is more valuable than passive and useless squeezing.
- Since it is an experience version, the content of the game experience is too small and unnecessary as a reason for negative reviews of this game, please stay on the sidelines. However, the character is not without a growth system. The experience of fewer than 2 hours is likely to ignore this new growth system.
- Role experience: Bounty Hunter. The output potential is very high and the open circuit capability is the weakest. If you meet a werewolf who never puts up a shield or a naive teammate who runs around, the experience will be a bit hard.
