DARK NIGHT WITH FLOPPA is an emotional horror from the first person about searching for pictures in a dark forest. The gameplay is simple – You found yourself in the wilderness and now you need to explore this place to collect 8 pictures of cats that someone hid somewhere nearby. Find all the pictures before the Big Floppa finds you. There is no complicated pumping, complicated plot or expensive special effects in this game. Only your lonely character, the night forest, a spot of dim light from a flashlight and a Big Floppa.
The dark atmosphere really sets the tone for what’s to come, as you dash and weave your way from the main attraction, floppa, you pick up various pictures of floppa and other totes adorable cats in either a forest or a winter forest, and as you gather more pages the devious little villain becomes more ferocious with his advances and caused your heart to skip beats and be constantly on your tippy toes. Even with my large amount of game time I haven’t managed to successfully get all 8 pages as this is a challenge and a half, but that does not take away from my enjoyment of the game.
